I'm reminded that Christ in his absolute perfection, took the pain that I would have, and carried it so that I don't have to. That nails pierced him for my sicknesses, that he was beaten for my moments of grief, and sadness, that my sins are forgiven when I come with a willing heart.
I've said it before and I still believe it, love is a verb. It's meant to propel us to action, meant to be seen in the way we treat others. The people who interact with you should leave feeling like their lives have gotten better because you love. Love is more than the fairytale weaved… Continue reading Love is a verb
The last three months have been hard, between deaths, and finding out that a friend has cancer, old issues being brought up, people disappointing me, my heart getting broken, and feeling sick, I'm shocked I've held up as much as I have. I've struggled with this incredible worry that I will fall into the abyss… Continue reading Learning to Breathe
Growing up, all I was allowed to listen to was Christian music. By the time I reached middle school, I hated it with a passion. You could not get me to listen to a gospel song, and Christian radio was irritating to me because they played the same songs every time. Since my only way… Continue reading 10 Switchfoot Songs
If you check my iPod, you'll learn some things about me. 1. I'm very eclectic with my music taste 2. I absolutely love Boyz II Men. When I'm sad, or frightened or frustrated, and most of all...happy you will find me singing songs… Continue reading Square Holes and Circular Shapes.

I'm putting a disclaimer on this ramble because, I am not a pastor, psychologist, or whatever else. I'm just a person who is trying to live the life that God has given me, and express the thoughts that seem to float in my head. So... Let's use our imaginations. I want you to imagine a… Continue reading Friday Rambles
Before Justin Bieber, and Austin Mahone, and Cody Simpson, there was Jesse McCartney. He in my opinion is so much better than these current teen idols. While Justin Bieber sings about "Never Say Never" or "Baby" Jesse serenaded my teenage ears with "Beautiful Soul" and "Good Life" I remember how much I loved listening to… Continue reading Throwback Thursday: Jesse McCartney
